Access Fixtures is introducing new LED wall packs that are true 150 watt and 250 watt metal halide equivalents. Now using LEDs and only 38 to 77 watts of energy, it is possible to achieve the same light output as 150 to 250 watt wall packs. The new wall packs are available in both modern and classic designs and use about 75% less energy to deliver the same amount of light as metal halide versions. Access Fixtures' LED wall packs are ideal for safely and efficiently lighting outdoor commercial or industrial areas.
"Customers are used to purchasing 150w and 250w metal halide wall packs based on the knowledge that they will achieve an expected light output," said Access Fixtures CEO, Steven Rothschild. He continued, "The new LED wall packs which are true 150w and 250w metal halide equivalents enable electricians, architects and property managers to specify and use LED wall packs and know they will achieve the light output they expected from 150 and 250 watt metal halide wall packs."
Compared to HID light sources, LEDs have improved energy efficiency and superior color rendering. In addition to being energy efficient, the LED wall packs offer reduced maintenance due to the extended life of the LED light source. The fixtures have die cast aluminum housings for enhanced durability. With a long product life, durability, and reduced energy use, the LED wall packs are cost-saving and offer a fast return on investment. Additionally, many Access Fixtures wall packs are qualified by the DesignLights Consortium and are eligible for most energy rebate programs.
