At the Interpack trade fair that will be held in Düsseldorf (Hall 6 / Stand C33) MB Bäuerle plans to place particular emphasis on its versatile range of feeders. A manufacturer of folding and inserting systems, MB Bäuerle has many years of experience in the field of feeding systems.
The application of different technologies makes it possible to handle a wide range of materials and formats. Thick or thin products, glossy or matt surfaces, single cut sheets or signatures, open or closed edges, cards or brochures are no problem for the suction feeders from MB Bäuerle; fast and reliable feeding is always guaranteed.
No matter whether the feeder magazine is full or whether only a few products are left - separation is functioning smoothly. This is made possible by a principle that creates the best possible conditions during separation. Although the actual quantity in the magazine is changing, the pressure remains the same. With the new catalogue feeder, even documents with a product thickness of up to 15 mm can be processed effortlessly. As on option the catalogue feeder can also be equipped with a pre-stacking device for continuous and trouble-free feeding of the material. Friction and pick+place feeders complete the exhibition range. The different types of feeders are suitable for stand-alone operation as well as for the integration into systems.
MB Bäuerle will also show the leafletFOLDER NET 21, a computer-controlled fold module for producing package inserts for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and packaging industry. It is available both for integration into cartoning and packaging machines and as a stand-alone folding system. All relevant settings are made by means of a touch-screen display. Four automatic fold plates with integrated deflectors produce all common small folds with a minimum fold length of 15 mm. 16 types of fold are pre-programmed and can be called up immediately from the memory - all other folds are freely programmable. The fold roller setting is also automated and even the code scanners move to a defined position by pushing a button. Thanks to the computer control the positions of the fold plate stops, the deflectors or the code scanners can be saved and reset when needed. Repeat jobs are therefore exactly reproducible, which is of great advantage when handling small volumes. As an option, it is possible to equip the leafletFOLDER NET 21 with professional creasing devices and a divert gate. A network interface allows complex integration in the control of the cartoning and packaging machine.
An integrated production solution for delivery notes, invoices and shipping labels will be shown at the stand of the partner company Logopak Systeme GmbH & Co. KG (Hall 16 / Stand B36). With this system, shipping documents (delivery notes, invoices) produced by the Microplex digital printing systems are folded with an MB Bäuerle folding system multipli 35. An applicator first attaches the folded document below the previously printed shipping label and subsequently the shipping label together with the delivery note on the shipping carton. By tearing open the shipping label along a perforating line, the shipping documents can be removed easily and quickly upon receipt of the delivery.
