Visitor registration opens for Labelexpo Asia 2019

Visitor registration is now open for Labelexpo Asia 2019 – the region’s largest label and package printing technology event. Held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 3 – 6 December 2019, the 9th edition of the biennial show is bigger than ever before, featuring for the very first time an exclusive Flexpack area, dedicated to flexible packaging.


TE Connectivity introduces new PR115 silver and white thermally printable 50-micron polyester rating label

TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has introduced new self-adhesive polyester rating labels, PR115. These custom-designed labels have UL969 category PGJI2 file MH29684 approval, which means that they can be printed by end-use product manufacturers using thermal transfer equipment.

Insignis wins FINAT Label Award for sparkling wine label

 

Austrian label printer and converter INSIGNIS receives the prestigious FINAT Label Award in the category “Label Printing Processes – Combination Printing”. The winning “Frizzante” label was produced for the local winery “Weingut PayerPayer” and was printed and converted at the hybrid press Gallus Labelfire.

Prestigious Global Achievement Award goes to Jim DeFife

Jim DeFife, VP Pressure-Sensitive Materials, Multi-Color Corporation has been chosen as the recipient of the prestigious R. Stanton Avery Global Achievement Award 2019. Judging for the annual Label Industry Global Awards, now in its 16th edition, took place on 5 June during the FINAT European Label Forum in Copenhagen. The panel of international judges considered entries for a total of six award categories and drew up a shortlist.

Labelexpo to present most extensive educational schedule to date

Visitors to the 40th anniversary edition of Labelexpo Europe, the world’s biggest label and package printing industry trade show, will be able to deepen their technical knowledge of flexible packaging and self-adhesive labels with the introduction of dedicated expert-led master classes and a workshop. These bring the number of in-depth technical learning programs to four - the show’s most extensive educational schedule to date.
