ET Solar Constructs a New Solar Farm for Lightsource Renewable Energy in the United Kingdom

ET Solar Energy Corp. ("ET Solar"), a leading smart energy solutions provider, announced that its subsidiary ET Solutions AG, a solar turnkey solutions provider based in Munich, has commenced the building of a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project with an installed capacity of 8.7 MWp. This solar farm project was developed by Lightsource Renewable Energy, leading solar energy generator and operator of the largest commercial scale solar PV portfolio in the UK.

Located at Somerton Door in southern Somerset, the solar farm is sited over 42 acres of which over two thirds of the allocated land area will remain open grassland, suitable for grazing small livestock like sheep. ET Solar serves as the exclusive EPC service provider and solar module supplier. The solar farm is expected to connect to the grid in mid-November, 2014.

"Our solution for business in the UK is very strong this year thanks to the market's bourgeoning growth and our vast capabilities and experience on a global basis. Despite the potential changes in the subsidy environment in the country next year, we are committed to continuing to deliver one-stop solar energy solutions to our key customers in the market," said Dennis She, President and CEO of ET Solar. "In addition to providing superior EPC services and high quality solar modules, we are also very keen in working with local partners for project development and financing to further strengthen our strong market position."

Kareen Boutonnat, Managing Director for Lightsource comments, "With one of the largest development pipelines in the UK, we have to ensure we build on relationships with our trusted partners like ET Solutions AG. We demand quality and consistency, working with partners who can deliver. We have high aspirations for this year and look forward to working with ET Solutions AG to add another quality asset to our operational portfolio."

ET Solar presents at the Solar Energy UK 2014 in Birmingham from October 14 to 16.
