Conference Attendees Have An Opportunity To Learn More About Products, PV Safety
Trina Solar Limited (TSL), a global leader in photovoltaic modules, solutions and services, will be taking part in this year's Intersolar conference to showcase its industry leading Trinasmart panels as well as its PDG5 frameless, Dual Glass panels. The company will also offer attendees a number of product demonstrations at its booth, #7411.

The Trinasmart module features innovative power electronics from Tigo Energy to achieve module-level diagnostics and maximum energy harvest through module level DC power optimization. Integration of the module optimizer into the junction-box allows for up to 30% longer strings and significant balance of system (BOS) savings. The modules feature enhanced safety capabilities, which enable the system to shut down in the case of an emergency or maintenance. This complies with NEC requirements. In the case of an external fire, the modules can be totally deactivated, eliminating high voltages and improving safety during an emergency.
Trina Solar's PDG5 frameless, Dual-Glass module is UL/IEC certified to 1000V and requires no grounding. The module has two layers of 2.5mm heat-strengthened glass. Dual-glass provides the highest UL Fire safety rating and reduces micro-cracking, PID, module warping, UV aging, and corrosion. The modules' robust package protects cells during mechanical loading and shocks, minimizing micro-cracks that diminish module efficiency.
Trina Solar will also hold demonstrations on how to operate the PV-Safe feature of the Trinasmart panels and learn about the triggers that automatically activate PV-Safe. The schedule of demonstration times is below.

Trina Solar comes to Intersolar riding a wave of momentum. The company recently received the BlueSky Award from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization for its high efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells and Honey Ultra modules. It also recently announced the completion of the first solar project in Chile to be completely developed by a Chilean company using Trina Solar panels at the Tambo Real II facility.
