Centro Stampa Quotidiani (CSQ) is the newest and largest printing centre in Italy. It recently added another press, a GOSS UNIVERSAL 75, to its inventory. This press was already equipped with the IRS colour register system from Q.I. Press Controls (QIPC). Now the IDS system is also being installed to control inking, dampening and defect detection in a close loop system.

The story of CUPSZ began in 2014 when brothers Daan and Michiel Willemsz decided to turn a passion for coffee cups into a profession. Since then, countless coffee cups have been designed and produced at the company’s HQ in Tilburg for customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France. Most recently, as part of the company’s quest to innovate, CUPSZ has added cardboard disposable containers to its range, known as BOWLSZ.

Plastic has become an indispensable material for the food industry. In addition to fresh foods being wrapped in plastic for protection, a growing number of people are turning to frozen foods and convenience meals. Mountains of films are now responsible for not only keeping the goods fresh, but also protecting them from the transfer of undesirable substances.

Printing consists of many processes due to its historical background of specialization.
