1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference cannot take place

The 1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference planned for 1 and 2 June 2022 cannot take place.

Effects of the Corona pandemic still being felt
Willingness to travel still low
Current crises cause a shift in priorities

The 1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference planned for 1 and 2 June 2022 cannot take place. "At this point in time it is unfortunately not possible to host an event that is satisfactory for all parties involved," says Stephanie Wagner, LIGNA project manager. "The impact of the Corona crisis, a still hesitant willingness to travel in companies, full schedules due to postponed events and a resulting event density in the summer months are unfavourable circumstances for the 1st Rosenheim LIGNA.Conference."
In addition, priorities continue to shift due to interrupted supply chains, material shortages as well as resource availability: The target group of the LIGNA.Conference is currently heavily involved in the dynamic and challenging day-to-day business, so that only limited capacities are available to pursue strategic conference topics.
Prof. Andreas Heinzmann of Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences: "We regret that the good cooperation with Deutsche Messe AG and the LIGNA team did not result in the event we had hoped for, which would also have meant great added value for our students and our network."
The topics planned for the LIGNA.Conference will now be covered at LIGNA.23. The next world's leading trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry will take place in Hannover from 15 to 19 May 2023.
