The first day of plast alger & printpack alger is over and it was a great success. 161 market leaders from 24 countries discuss business with a highly professional audience.
The inauguration of the exhibition took place in the presence of Mr El Hadi Makboul, Secretary General of the Ministry of Industrial Development and Investment Promotion, representatives of the embassies of Austria, Germany and Spain as well as representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, including AHK Algeria and AVEP of Spain.
The Secretary General of the ministry has emphasized the need to develop a local plastics industry especially as Algeria is a "great consumer" of this product: "There is a big market and a tremendous need in this sector in Algeria. Important industry platforms such as plast & printpack alger allow national and international operators to discuss sustainable partnerships to boost the industry and to increase local production on the principle of win-win partnerships."
