Global printing industry leader Inkcups Europe will be showcasing its specialist digital printing solutions at the upcoming Promotional Product Service Institute (PSI) 2024, the leading European trade show for the promotional product industry. The event will be held at Messe Düsseldorf trade fair grounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, from the 9th to the 11th of January 2024. Inkcups will be exhibiting on Stand E62, Hall 10.
For the first time at PSI, the XJET Switch direct-to-bag printer will be on display. The XJET Switch is the first UV flatbed printing machine formulated for high-quality, full CMYKWW decoration of reusable bags, totes, and hard goods. This state-of-the-art addition to the XJET product line has been developed in response to increased demand for sustainable bags as a promotional medium; following PSI 2023, 60 percent of visitors surveyed stated that they were particularly interested in promotional textiles in 2024, and the event has strengthened its textile offering as a result.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to see the recently launched Helix® ONE benchtop cylindrical printer in action. A compact addition to the celebrated Helix® line, the Helix® ONE delivers the power and quality of the traditional Helix® printer in a space-efficient industrial design with modular options as promotional printers grow and adapt their offering. Following its global debut in 2023, visitors to PSI will experience the newer, entry-level solution alongside Inkcups’ established digital product range.
Also on the Inkcups Europe stand will be the flagship Helix® cylindrical inkjet printer and the X5® UV flatbed printer, which are once again expected to draw considerable interest from European print businesses operating in the promotional print space or exploring opportunities in the growing segment. The machines on the stand will be demonstrating their capabilities with a range of sample items; the Helix® will be printing a variety of designs onto acrylic cups, the Helix® ONE will be printing onto white metal bottles, on the XJET Switch Black polyester bags, cotton bags, and clear concert bags will be printed, and the X5 flatbed will print onto bottle openers.
Inkcups will also be participating in a special show feature that will demonstrate the production process of promotional items, dubbed ‘Ready for the Museum’. Presented as a production site for a museum shop, visitors will see a range of printing and finishing technologies bringing classic art from Dutch artists to life like never before.
