Markem-Imaje launch new range of print and apply thermal labels (GS1 compliant)

Label MI Series certified for use with Markem-Imaje Print and Apply labellers and ribbon
Markem-Imaje, the global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions and industrial marking and coding systems, is set to release a new range of GS1 compliant Print and Apply thermal labels. The Label MI series has been designed and certified to work with their existing Ribbon MI series guaranteeing quality, longer rolls for increased up-time, alongside GS1 compliant barcodes at any speed and with reduced darkness. Additionally, the range has been designed to maximize printhead life reducing maintenance costs.

The Label MI Series comprises three thermal transfer label categories and a direct label category to meet the needs of all end-of- line case and pallet labelling requirements. The range includes:
• Label MI Prime – cost-effective label for optimum use with Print and Apply labellers and desktop printers. Suitable for a broad range of applications including: plastic, film, glass, card and, corrugated board
• Label MI Performance – designed for durability and long-term removability from a wide range of substrates or low temperature resistance, including deepfreeze
• Label MI Premium – optimised quality for enhancing packaging design whilst ensuring durable and compliant codes
• Label MI Direct – a high quality prints for short to medium term applications
The Label MI category names mirror the Ribbon MI names for quick and simple purchasing decisions.

The Label MI Series will be available to order in Europe from 27th January.
