Bio-Racer exclusively uses Roland printers for the production of its cycling apparel

Bio-Racer, an industry-leading manufacturer of cycling apparel, is discontinuing its use of screen printing and from now will only use digital printers from Roland DG for the personalization of its cycling apparel. According to Bio-Racer, the flexibility, the speed and the reliability of these printers are their three main advantages. Models are also easy to scale up or down for the different sizes and styles needed.

Anticipating consumer demand

Screen printing is traditionally used to print cycling apparel, but recently one of the world's largest manufacturers of cycling apparel decided to completely discontinue screen printing.

Danny Segers, Business Manager of Bio-Racer in Tessenderlo (B): "We were using our screen printing installation less and less often. Our customers want personalized outfits, whose designs contain many different colours. They expect short delivery times and a very good price. Our digital printers are the ideal solution: they are fast, affordable to purchase and to maintain, and extremely flexible. The number of colours is unlimited, and we can personalize each print."

Sublimation printers from Roland DG

Bio-Racer is a loyal customer of Roland DG for the purchase of its digital printers. They have more than 20 Roland printers, including six new SOLJET PRO4 XF-640 machines.

The XF-640 is Roland DG's fastest printer ever. The printer is equipped with the newest generation of print heads, a new media take-up system and improved media transport. Together with a series of other developments, all of these features ensure outstanding print quality at high speeds.

Danny Segers: "We have been working for years now with Roland printers, and we are very satisfied with the quality of these machines. They rarely need repair, and when they must be maintained or a part must be replaced, we can always count on the Roland technicians to get to work quickly and efficiently."
