Catalog Spree, the personal digital mall that lets consumers browse, discover and shop their favorite brands, today reported the results of its Sofa Sunday Shopper Insight Report. The report and infographic provide a look at the shopping habits of consumers, including top brands and products shopped, popular shopping times and the cities that shop the most. This year, Catalog Spree experienced a tremendous increase in shopping on Sofa Sunday, with users viewing nearly 1.3 million catalog pages - a 74 percent increase from 2012.

The Catalog Spree mobile shopping app makes holiday shopping easy by letting consumers shop from more than 350 full-page digital catalogs and lookbooks on an iPad or iPhone. Additional highlights from this year's report include:

"Sofa Sunday has become one of the busiest shopping days of the year alongside Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday," said Joaquin Ruiz, CEO of Catalog Spree. "This year Thanksgiving was our busiest single day of the holiday weekend, which confirms a trend toward earlier shopping. Each day we offered many of the same deals shoppers could get in-store, and it paid off! On Sofa Sunday, users viewed 74 percent more catalog pages than they did last year. Clearly consumers prefer the convenience of shopping on their tablets and smartphones to trekking to the mall, which propelled mobile shopping to its best holiday weekend yet."

To kick-off the holiday shopping season, Catalog Spree recently launched a new Gift Center to provide consumers with gift ideas and inspiration for the holiday season. These curated catalogs, such as Gifts Under $50, Gifts for Her and Gifts for Kids, are produced by Catalog Spree in a matter of hours with Spree Studio, the company's all-digital publication platform.
