Antonio Bartesaghi, CEO of OMET Group, presented during a ceremony held on 20 December 2012 the first scholarships for children of employees of the companies OMET and O-PAC who have distinguished themselves for study merits during the frequency of High Schools or Universities.
We wanted to establish a scholarship for the children of our employees who have achieved good results in studies with the aim of rewarding the hard work, dedication and the ability to cope with difficulties. We hope that the prize will act as a stimulus to ensure that this commitment is prolonged in time," so says Antonio Bartesaghi.
"We all know that the path to business growth depends on the ability to consistently achieve the best results with the support of virtuous staff but also with the passion, dedication and effort of all. The same commitment we have recognized and valued in these children with the hope that this might contribute to their future success."
OMET Scholarships are just one example of the activities of social responsibility that the company pursues in Lecco and outside. Among these, the collaboration with prestigious universities in Lombardy (in particular, Milan Polytechnic and the Italian Institute of Technology), the offer of internships to students, many sports sponsorships, the collaboration with the Badoni Foundation that works for the improvement of the relation between schools and companies and the donations for the upgrade of the technological equipment of Lecco technical schools.
