Perfekt got first CuttingSystem PACE in Poland

Warsaw printing house Perfekt S.A. produces on first POLAR CuttingSystem PACE in Poland. The automated cutting system replaces an older system. This investment saves Perfekt not only one person but also increased the productivity by 30%.
Perfekt S.A. is one of the leading industrial printers in Poland. An important element of the company's philosophy is the continuous expansion and optimization of its production capacities. So it was a logical step to replace the existing cutting equipment with a state-of-the-art CuttingSystem PACE from POLAR.

Benefits for Perfekt

Fast delivery with no compromise in quality characterizes the company's attitude. So the previous cutting system was too inefficient to fulfill these requirements. Perfekt used to work with POLAR equipment already and knows about their very good quality. "POLAR is a leader in the industry. They offer the latest technologies and innovative solutions", says Janusz Banasiewicz. The owner of Perfekt adds: "The biggest advantage of the new machine is the increased productivity by 30% on average, while the night shifts even up to 50%. With the automation of the process we could reduce the manning on the cutting system from 2 operators down to 1."

CuttingSystem PACE

PACE ("Polar Automation for Cutting Efficiency") is the name for a highly-automated cutting process. The loading, turning and waste disposal processes are all automated. Interaction of both core components Autoturn and Autotrim permits automation of the first five cuts (four-side and separating cut). While the cutting system carries out these cutting operations automatically, the operator is able to prepare the next ream in the automatic jogger. The system can therefore run continuously with only one operator.
