Canon Business Process Services Showcases eDiscovery and Litigation Support Solutions at ILTACON 2015

Visit Canon Business Process Services at the International Legal Technology Association Conference (ILTACON 2015) in Booth #815

Canon Business Process Services, a leading provider of managed services and technology, will spotlight its eDiscovery and litigation support solutions at the International Legal Technology Association's ILTACON 2015 conference taking place in Las Vegas, August 30 to September 3. Canon executives will be available to share their insights on the latest developments and best practices in eDiscovery and information governance that can help legal organizations contain costs, streamline operations and reduce risk.

Canon helps legal teams meet these challenges through its integrated portfolio of technology and litigation support services. These range from consulting, legal holds and preservation, paper and electronic discovery to data collection, early case assessment, electronically stored information, managed review and hosted review.

Canon is highlighting a newly enhanced version of its CaseData® cloud-based discovery platform ("CaseData") which provides processing, analysis, review and production. CaseData now offers Evidence Manager, a module that streamlines document review by enabling a clear view of the contents of a computer hard drive before processing any of it and logging decisions made about what documents to process. This can save unnecessary cost and time incurred by processing and later identifying a significant volume of irrelevant documents contained on a computer hard drive, such as personal emails and/or system files.

Evidence Manager quickly scans a source of evidence, identifying all of the contents and providing comprehensive reports that allow intelligent decisions to be made about which documents to process for potential relevance and review. Once a decision is made about what to process from the evidence source, Evidence Manager logs the decision and who made it. At any future time, legal professionals can review the decisions and make new decisions to include more evidence related to the case.
